Two kinds of information reach Bidroq: the little we collect about you, and the bid packages you send us to read. They are handled differently and this page says how. Anything not yet confirmed is left blank rather than guessed at.

Who we are

For anything on this page, write to hello@bidroq.com.

What we collect about you

Account information. Your work email, and optionally your name, company, state, annual volume, where your invitations come from, and how you heard about us. You type these on the trial page. Everything except the email is optional.

Referral information. If you arrive through a partner link, we record the partner code and the campaign parameters in the address, and we keep them in your browser for 90 days so the trial is credited to whoever sent you.

Usage information. Pages viewed on this site, and inside the product, which reads were opened and which lines were corrected. Corrections are what make the next read better.

Support correspondence. Email you send us, and our replies.

We do not buy contact lists, we do not ask for a payment card to start a trial, and we do not collect anything about your customers beyond what is already in the documents you forward.

Your documents

A bid package belongs to you and your customer, not to us. We process it to produce your read and we hold it for your office to work from.

Documents live in private cloud storage, tenant isolated, and are never public or search indexed. Your pricing, production rates and bid history are visible to your office only. Deleting a package deletes the read that came from it.

We do not sell your documents, we do not show them to another contractor, and we do not use one customer's pricing to answer another customer's question.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process account information to run the account you asked for, usage information for our legitimate interest in making the read accurate, and everything else on the instruction you give us when you forward a package. Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it by email and we will act on it.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site tracking pixel. What it stores is one referral record in your browser, for 90 days, so a partner is paid correctly. In the product, a session cookie keeps you signed in.

Who else sees it

Only the subprocessors that make the product work: hosting and document storage, sign-in, model inference on package text, and transactional email. Each is bound to process only on our instruction. We will disclose information if the law requires it, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden to.

AI models

Reading a package means sending its text to a model provider. Bidroq selects among multiple providers per step. Your account can instead run inside your own cloud AI account, in which case the documents are processed under your own provider agreement and region.

How long it is kept

Documents follow the retention schedule: a trial that does not convert stays readable and downloadable for 30 days and is then purged; paid accounts are retained for the life of the account; after cancellation, lapse or deletion by the Owner, documents are purged within 30 days and backups within 60.

Your rights

Ask us and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. Cancel by email; no call, no retention queue. If you are in the EU, the UK or California, the rights your law gives you apply here, including the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We do not sell personal information and have not in the last twelve months.

Requests go to hello@bidroq.com.

Where it is processed

For accounts running in your own cloud AI account, processing happens in the region you set.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will email the address on the account before the change takes effect. The date at the top is the version you are reading.
