# Bidroq — AI bid intelligence for commercial roofing

Canonical page: https://bidroq.com/

## 1,204 pages. One morning.

Bidroq reads every bid package the day it lands, pulls out what the roofing trade is on the hook for, and cites the page under every line. Then it remembers all of them.

30 days · No card · Unlimited packages. Start at https://bidroq.com/index#trial

Invitations arrive the way they always have: Exchange · Outlook · Gmail · BuildingConnected · SmartBid · The Blue Book.

## The numbers

- 35 to 40 invitations a month [1]
- 15 get a full read [1]
- Under 2 hours per read by hand [1]
- 20 minutes with Bidroq [4]

## Every line clicks through to the page it came from

Excerpt from a real read — Ladera Self Storage, 121 pages plus a 77-page exhibit.

## Forty invitations. Fifteen get read. [1]

- Division 07 is split across five spec sections and three sheet series.
- An addendum lands four days later and quietly changes the membrane.
- Last spring's identical project is in someone's inbox, unfindable.

## Three steps, none of them yours

1. **The invitation arrives.** Connect your mailbox or a portal, or forward to one address. Bidroq follows the plan links and collects the set.
2. **Bidroq reads all of it.** Drawings, specs and addenda, front to back, the day they land. Where they disagree, it says so.
3. **Every line cites its source.** Page under every requirement. Where the documents are silent it says not stated, confirm with the GC.

## Every bid. Every manufacturer. Every decision. One place to ask.

Reading the package is the first thing Bidroq does. Keeping all of it is why it stays. Every request for bid · every manufacturer sheet · every decision your office made.

Sample questions and answers (project names are fictional):

- *What have we seen from this GC in the last year?* Six invitations in the last twelve months, all through BuildingConnected. Four were tapered polyiso over steel deck. The two you bid were the ones where roof access was already scoped by the general.
- *Which open bids call for a 20-year NDL?* Three project names, each with its citation.
- *Is this assembly approved on a steel deck?* Yes, on 22 gauge steel deck with mechanically attached polyiso. The data sheet requires a cover board under 60 mil membrane. — Elevate TDS · p.4

## The assistant: talk to your inbox

- **He drafts, you send.** An RFI lands as a draft in your own mailbox, threaded to the invitation. Send goes out as you.
- **Your call is what gets recorded.** Bob recommends bid or no bid and shows the open questions behind it.
- **Not now.** It leaves Today and comes back on its own.

## More bids out. Same estimators. Same hit rate.

15 full reviews a month × 1.67 hours saved per review = about 25 hours a month. [4]

> "Nothing necessarily breaks, but it would take a larger time commitment again." — owner/GM, Colorado design partner [1]

## Built on a live bid desk

In production today [2]: invitation sources connected 6 · packages read 118 · longest set in one pass 198 pp · estimators daily 4.

Built with a $15M commercial roofer in Colorado. Every extraction rule came from a package that firm actually had to bid.

## What is live. What is in beta.

| Capability | Status |
|---|---|
| Intake — mailboxes, portals, or upload; follows plan links; tells you when a link, a sign-in or an NDA is in the way | Live |
| Scope sheet — assemblies, warranties, edge metal, drainage, code items, each with a page chip; conflicts called out | Live |
| Bid or pass — Bob recommends with the open questions; your call is what gets recorded; not now snoozes it | Live |
| Assistant — ask across every bid and every sheet; shows its tool calls; drafts RFIs into your own mailbox | Live |
| Manufacturer library — Elevate live; data sheets, design guides, warranties, answered with sheet and page | Live |
| Automated takeoff to filled estimate — runs the takeoff in your Bluebeam and fills your Excel template, formulas untouched | Beta |
| Pricing — your rates, your production; an estimator approves every number | Beta |
| Quote submission — proposal returned to the general on their platform | Roadmap |

Takeoff runs in your own Bluebeam on a Windows desktop. Your estimator corrects and approves every measurement. [3]

## FAQ

**Do I have to change how invitations reach me?** No. Sign up and you get one forwarding address. Set one rule in Outlook or Gmail and every invitation reaches Bidroq. Or connect your mailbox, or drop packages in by hand.

**What happens when an addendum lands?** It attaches to the bid it amends. Changed requirements are marked, the superseded line is struck, key dates update, and both lines carry their own citation.

**How accurate is the read?** Every line prints the section and page it came from. Where the documents are silent it says not stated. Where they disagree it says so. Your estimator checks the line against the page in seconds. That loop is the product.

**Can it answer product and warranty questions?** Yes, from the manufacturer's own documentation, with the sheet and page. Elevate is loaded today. If the documentation is silent, Bidroq says not listed.

**Does the AI send anything on its own?** No. It drafts the email to the GC. A person clicks Send. It does not mark a bid ready if a document failed to load.

**What does the trial include?** Thirty days of the full Bid Intelligence tier on your real invitations. No card. No limit on packages or estimators. Takeoff and pricing is a separate tier in beta and is not part of the trial.
